I had Win98 installed on my first hard drive, on the second I installed RedHat Linux. It was coming up with LILO fine and i was able to type in dos or linux
The IDE cable or power cable fell out of the second drive (and I didn't realise) I turned on my machine and when it came to boot it said 1010101010101010101001010101010101010101001010 (I could go on
) and this happened until I thought I would refresh the MBR
I did fdisk /mbr and it booted to Windows only, fine.
Now when I plugged the second drive back in, I only get windows. No LILO comes up at all. I haven't done that much on Linux so far so it's not a big problem if I have to reinstall, it would just be a pain in the arse.
Is there any way I can get back my LILO dual boot without reinstalling Linux?
