It makes no sense to buy a dual core for a gaming machine. Not yet at least because there are no games out there that are written to utilize dual core CPU's. We only have one 64 bit game that I can think of (Far Cry)..and 64 bit CPU's have been out for almost two years now (for the home user). How long will it be before we see the first games are written that can utilize a dual core CPU?....probably not any time soon.
