I have verizon DSL. I used to have optimum online cable but dsl is cheaper and gives me a more stable connection on the weekends.

DSL for me. 768 down and 128 up. Not the fastest, but better than dial up.
T1... sometimes like 1.8MB/s... but... not stable

wow...$35 for 5.6/1.6....thats great....i have $42 for 3/256k but the actual spees are 4mbps/230
Hi Ho

That is my actual speed according to dslreports.com. My ISP does not cap my speeds. It's nice. :D
I have DSL. I remember when I had 56k, and my brother and I wanted DSL so bad, but it was expensive so my parents wouldn't get it. Finally got DSL when I got a job. It's insanely better than 56k. Honestly, I would rather have no internet than 56k.

Raff,
I would definately call somebody if you have an unstable T1 line. I wouldn't pay that kinda money for it to be unreliable.

Cable here....3Mbps down 256kbps up....although Hi Ho's sounds interesting....
Hi Ho
06-11-2004, 07:18 PM
Sorry icallmedan but HCTC is stictly local. That's the good thing. If I have a problem I walk into the main building down the street and talk to the owner who happens to be a long time friend. Though I don't have to do that too often. The last time my cable was down was.... well I don't remember. :) I think it was over two years ago for about five minutes. That little company has everything from digital cable to their own cell phone service. I love being free from the evil giant around here... Comcast. :)
DSL for me. As those famous TV philosephers Beavis and Butthead would say:
hehehehe, Dial-up sucks. :))
