I Got this card from a guy at work and he does not have any drivers for it or the hookup cables to connect it to the tv. I downloaded the latest driver from the Nvidia web site. then went to a pc store and got a S-video cable that connects to the tv out. I hooked it to my tv but do not get a picture. I do not know what the setting should be to get get it to work. Can someone help?

Darn I used to do this when I had my nvidia card. You will need to use Nvidia Nview which should come with the driver. You will need to confirure it so that it does dual display if i remember right.

I found this, it may help:

If you are using the latest drivers then you should have the same process as me. Right-click on the desktop and go to properties. Then click the settings tab > advanced > the tab with your graphics card name. If the TV is on and connected correctly there should be an option on the side panel called "Nvidia Nview". From there you should see options to clone the display or stretch the display accross the monitor and TV.

I tried unhooking the monitor and leaving the tv hooked up. After restarting the computer the tv then could be used as the monitor but the pic was poor. The words are hard to read even with the screen res. at the lowest. When I hooked back up the cumputer monitor the pic went back to the monitor and the tv went blank again. I have downloaded the newest drivers.

The display on a TV will always be bad due to the way a TV handles scan lines, etc. - it's only suitable for videos, text is nasty.
