Need a $20 Keyboard: MS or Logitech?

My keyboard is dying... looking at Amazon (I have a coupon), just need a simple $20 replacement- I found these two:

Logitech Deluxe Access 104 Keyboard (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004VUGR/ref=pd_sbs_e_4/104-8470949-5337568)

and

Microsoft C19-00001 Internet Keyboard (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00002MZ8G/qid=984266951/sr=1-1/ref=sc_e_1/104-8470949-5337568)

for the right prices. Anyone have preferences on either? I don't care about the 'internet' keys... just need a nice board. Thanks in advance!

I have a crappo 20 dollar Logitech keyboard...

Has seen at least five ashtray spills.
After five said ashtray spills I took the circuit board out and ran it through the dishwasher.
Has been dropped hundreds of times
Has even been used as a weapon once to swing at a certain cat scratching my damn couch.

Through thick and thin, it still works ;).

If you want a plain keyboard, you should be able to find a decent one for about $5. I have 2 of them laying around. Find someone who upgraded to a natural style keyboard and take their old one. I highly recommend the natural. I found mine (m$ brand) for $25 at a PC fair. They're well worth the extra $5 you'd have to spend!

I like the Internet keyboard. You can use the hotkeys at the top in IE to browse the net. Weird thing is that you have to install about 20MB of software to do so.

I think my favorite keyboard for the money is a Keytronic one that Mwave sells for $8.

Well mine is a Chicony (whatever or whoever that is) that I got at a computer show for $5.00, but if I ever need another one Xayd has convinced me what I need, I even have the cat.

I have a NMB that I paid $10 for 3 years ago - just a plain old standard keyboard - it's the first keyboard I have ever owned that hasn't died within a year.

I use an M$ Natural keyboard that I received for Christmas as a gift. Although it's not $20 it's a great keyboard. One may think it's awkward at first to get used to, but you get used to it quickly, and quite franky I like typing on it a lot more than standard keyboards.

Floppy, you either love or hate the MS Natural Keyboard. I have two so I am obviously the former. My wife despises it. It takes a bit getting used to but it is a good keyboard. I have seen them selling for about $28 at some places or in combos with an intellimouse for $32.

Yeah - a Wang board that's for a Wang - and doesn't have any Windows drivers to enable all those fancy keys :D

Was in Comp USA today and saw their $5 keyboard. Had to look twice to verify. BTW, am using a Natural on 1 pc - no one here likes it, which is why I put it on my newly built pc :D They're forced to use other 2.

Sarge, you are the man. I use a Logitech Trackball Marble on my PC. Most everyone else hates them and can't use them so they stay away from my machine. I do quite a bit of graphic work and the extra precision it gives over a mouse is great plus it stays in one place on the desk.

Mairving, did it take awhile to get used to the ball? I tried one other day at a friends house and it seemed so awkward - moreso than getting used to the natural board. I can guarantee no one will touch my new pc if'n I put a ball on it. Wife and kids are too set in their ways.

Kinda explains why so many different models of something that does basically same thing. I have and love the one Mairving despises.
