I don't know what to call this or where to post this question

I hope this is not the wrong place to post this quesiton, if so, please forgive me.

I bought a new computer and on the front are two USB ports, and there are also a couple of knockouts with nothing in them.

The knockouts are for :
Microphone
Speaker
and some other thing I don't know what its for, its about the size of the cable going from my cable modem to my computer.

Anyway, I wish to get a panel or something placed in there so I can plug my headphones in the front instead of the back of the unit. The only things I find are control panels to adjust fan speeds etc.

Anybody know what these things are called and who sells them? I checked Newegg and others, but I can't find Accessory audio jacks or anything like that.

What kind of computer is it?

More specificlly, what kind of case is it?

Is this a store bought computer or did you build it yourself. If it's store bought then what brand is it? I doubt that youw will be able to buy ports that will fit in those holes. THIS (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=13-999-302&depa=1) is the closest thing I could find on Newegg. You don't have to use the fan control features. I'd say the other connector is a Firewire connector and the panel I linked too has one.

Im very sorry for not replying until now. My daughter graduated and we threw a party for her. Up until that time my wife informed me of a five page 'TO DO LIST" before the party ! :-)))

I built the new one myself, and the older computer I had built by another company installed this neat accessory panel that filts into one of the slots in front and has audio, mike and a joystick outlet. This allows me to use these in the front instead of going to the back of the unit. The older computer company doesn't remember handling them, but it did come from them,

BTW, the picture here shows only two large front accessories or bays, mine has three plus the smaller one for the floppy and the fire wire that shows a place for the audio and other things but doesn't have them,

Yes, this is what I was thinking about!

Keep a lookout for something like this in black, if I don't find one in the next few days I'll settle for the beige.

You can always paint it if you can't find one the right color. The bezels are usually removable.

Your link allowed me to do a search, I tried in the past but I didn't have any luck before.

I came across one that is SIMPLE to install, just wires that go through the system and plugs into the ports in the back of the machine, and it comes black, beige and aluminim.

If you haven't purchased yet, check out this (http://www.frontx.com/) site, you can pick and choose what adapters you want, and get either cables to plug into the mobo headers, or passthrough cables to plug into the rear.

WOW, this is the the type/brand that is in my other computer, but there wasn't any name or anything on the hardware!
