real player won't install from CD

Why do i get an error trying to install real player. i get a setup decompression error. I'm installing RPg2 from a CD and during the installing it fails and errors as setup decompression. I'm running a 400mhz amd w/win98se, 128m ram.

Try copying the setup program to your hard drive and remove the read only attribute and then running it.

This may be interrelated with your Macro Magic problem in your other post - and it may be hardware related. Overheating CPU or bad/misconfigured ram can cause things like this.
