Anybody using Linspire(Lindows)? Any experience with it? How do experienced Linux users view Linspire? Any thoughts about it? I'm thinking about trying it.

On the question of what experienced users think of it; they want more control over their os than what linspire offers. It's a distribution geared towards people who've never used Linux and are not ready to learn about it's inner workings. I'm not sure what the costs are regarding buying and updating, but I think you should go for something else.
If you're not sure about linux, how it looks and feels, I suggest you first try Knoppix and run it from your cd drive. If you decide to try different distros, look into SuSe, Mandrake, Fedora or Libranet instead of Linspire. If you learn linux with any of those, while they're still easy to use and have graphical tools for everything, you can eventually learn how to edit files by hand and start using distros with which you have more control, such as Gentoo, Debian and Slackware.
Good luck
