Hey everyone, it's been a while. I am wondering if there is a way of hiding my connection to internet radio from my boss. He does not want me listening to the radio/using internet during business hours. The company uses WinVNC and can access my computer from remote locations so I'm not sure if it's even possible to hide my usage. Is it? If so, how? Can I use proxies or something like that? I just want to listen to WGN radio. He doesn't care if I bring a radio, he just doesn't want me using bandwidth. Anyone help?
Thanks,
The Snake

the best help and advice I can give you is to bring in the radio, asking for advice to break the rules is not proper question to be asking here

Is listening to the radio worth your job?

Sorry but I have to close this thread.
We can not help you in that area. The company you work for clearly does not want you listening to the radio over the internet. Believe me, I feel your pain, we used to do that at work and it worked out great for us, we got our work done but that didn't matter, the IT guys in the back said NO and that was the final say, never mind they play unreal 2004 in their dark office.
Besides if you do listen to it, after you have been told not too that can be grounds for a write up or even termination.
