Hello,
As of today I can't access the internet with my computer when I'm on Windows XP I get all blank pages. I don't think this is a hardware problem, because I restart my computer and go into linux and I easily go on internet.
Before this would happen about 1 time a day I would have to restart computer and it would be fine but this time restarting computer didn't fix it. I'm using the onboard lan oninstalle my NF7-S. I red ethernet drivers with no luck I also reset router and modem with no good results.
I've also tried installing a pci lan card with no luck.

Do you have an ip address??
Start -> Run -> type "cmd", hit enter -> (black box) type "ipconfig"
If there is a number next to IP Address that DOES NOT look like 169.x.x.x, write back with more info, what do the blank pages say, does the router have a WAN IP, etc.
If it does look like 169.x.x.x, that is a Windows auto-ip. Something is wrong with your router most likely in that case.

Ok theres a screen shot of ipconfig/all.
I've already tried few things ipconfig/release ipconfig/renew and it didn't work. Firewall is not conflicting I removed it. Router works because my second computer is running of it.
I also tried a Lan pci card that also didn't work.

Ok, that computer that you did ipconfig on, is it connected to the router??? or the other computer???
You are using a cat5 cable, not the crossover one, just to make sure.

Yes that computer is connected to the router its using the cat 5cable. Nothing has changed the same settings and hardware were working for over a year now yesterday all of a sudden it doesn't.
I did notice in ipconig it shows that 169xxxxx instead of 192.168.04 and the default gateway is blank my other working computer shows 192.168.0.1.

who makes the router, if its a lynksys you might be having a problem with the auto negotiate feature.
try going into the hardware properties for the nic then the advanced tab, then either under auto negotiate, or link speed or something like that, change it to 100 full duplex. if that doesnt work (ie the link light on the router goes off) try one of the other speeds.
the computer isnt picking up the ip like it is supposed to from the router. you might have the dhcp server on the router turned off, and the reason its working in linux might be because you have it manually setup.
you might also want to try manually setting up and ip, make you com something like 192.168.0.52 and the dns 68.9.16.30 and set the gateway and all that other crap

q(numbers) beat me too it, I would try the duplex settings first, then see if the routers DHCP service is turned on. Could also possibly be the windows drivers.

I tried all the duplex and none of them worked. What else can I do?

try this prog:
http://shipleysystems.com/FTP/WinSockFix/XPWinsockFix.zip
make sure you do the reg back up thing that it has though.
on rare occasions it destroys computers though, but if it does, that usually means your computer had a serious problem to begin with.
also, have you tried manual settings yet?

I haven't tried manuel settings because I really don't know what to change.
