That RAM is only being run at PC3200, your processor is holding it back. The only way to get that PC3200 running to its full potential is to either overclock (not for newbies), or buy a processor that uses a 400MHz FSB.

There is nothing wrong with the memory you have now. You would have to get pc2700 ram to have the same speeds, but your ram now underclocks to that speed and runs fine.

Tp's right, the PC3200 is underclocking to PC2700 to match your processor. You are fine running as you are.

And as an added bonus, when you ever upgrade to a faster FSB on your processor, you are set insofar as your memory speeds.

ok thanks for that... i was thinking about a new processor but i aint got the monsy at the mo...
which motherboard do you have? if your multi is unlocked...you can run it at 10.5 x 200 on stock voltage...which would essentially give you the same speed...hence you wouldnt be OCing. you would maximize the full potential of your PC3200 that way ;). as long as youre on an nforce2 or KT600 motherboard, all should be fine.
