I found an old (I mean Turbo button old) pc in a wing of some office space my company just leased.

I want to gut it out and possibly build a media center pc (music storage to broadcast to a wireless media center).

The mobo in the case now is exactly 8.5" x 8.5" with NO room to use a different sized one. There are numours factors that would prevent me from modding the internal frame, plus the back panel is just weird.

Does anyone know if I any manufacturer makes a mobo this size?

Thanks.

Can you get a picture of the back panel? Sounds like a different form factor to ATX, could identify it if we had a pic.

Sounds proprietary to me. The only other form factor I can think of that is even close is the Baby AT, which is 8.5 by 13. Sorry.

Sorry. I dont have a digi-cam.

The case looks like a mini-tower. The back I/O panel is rather large and sunken in from the frame about .5".

The current board is an old Socket 7 board. It had a K6-2 in it.

I think I just might send this one to the dump.

That sounds like a AT case. I wouldn't bother trying to do anything with it as you won't be able to fit a ATX motherboard in there without major modifications. Dumpster city.
