I run my Philips 42" plazma as a monitor (yeah, you guys look really HUGE on it!) but I have never figured out how to utilize it's sound system instead of standard computer speakers.
The VGA cable going to the plazma monitor has audio cables with it that end in RCA male plugs. I have them attached to audio in on the monitor but no matter what type of connection I try at the PC end I can't seem to get a signal to the monitor.
I know this is a specialized problem that may even deal with the monitor settings but I'm wondering if there is an electrical compatibility problem (wrong voltages, etc) in signals between the out from the on-board PC audio and the monitor.
HELP!
