I really hope someone can help me out...
I bought a new Epson R800 Printer last week, and when I click on the printer "Properties" button or access it throught the Control Panel "Printers & Faxes" the window that pops up is missing data on the right third and bottom third of the window. The outer border of the window itself is normal and I have the "OK", "Cancel", and "Help" buttons at the bottom, just no way for me to see anything on the right third and anything below the ink tanks, thus not allowing me access to the important "Advanced" checkbox.
The window itself can not be dragged open to see the missing fields. I've also found that this effect of truncated display windows is on several of my NVIDIA window "boxes", all other programs are totally normal.
I deleted all Epson drivers and reinstalled the R800 driver from the CD--same problem
I deleted the R800 driver and downloaded it from the Epson website--same problem
I updated the NVIDIA video card drivers-same problem
Epson Tech Support has been called 4 times and they are at a loss, and said they have never heard of this before.
Running dual monitors: An older Dell & a newer Viewsonic with a CPU built by PC Club that's about 1.5 years old, with XP Home, P.S. 7, with an NVIDIA GE Force Ti 4600 Video Card
Might this be an XP issue? If so, can I just reinstall XP without losing all my data on C Drive?
Thanks for the help in helping on this very frustrating problem.
