I'm after a Logo design program where i can basically design any graphic i want, like putting pen too paper, in .Jpeg format.
didnt have much joy with XP paint :) , so anyone know's of a good reliable quality app you use for free or for purchase (download or CD) thats in existence?? :confused: please post

I am in the UK if that matters.

I've never used this but it's got good reviews and it has free demos so you can try things out.
Nothing cost more than $35, just stay away from the pro stuff at the bottom of the products page, so it's affordable.

You could try GIMP or Photoshop.

The best way to find out what professional designers use would probably be to email a professor/TA in the Graphic Design program at some local college. It probably won't be free, but it will probably be mainstream and very handy.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS - it's the most verstaile tool out there.

i use photoshop, but sometimes its easier to use fireworks if im working close with dreamweaver and flash aswell.
