While I've been waiting for ATI to release their x800 xt, I've had a 32 mb video card installed in my awesome new machine that I assembled. It was working as well as can be expected, but it couldn't support many of my old games. So when I heard that the release date for the x800 xt has been pushed back even farther, I decided to take out the 64 mb card out of my old machine and swap it into the new one so I could play a few of my games.

I installed the new card but the monitor wont recognize it and turn on. I made sure the card was in securely, and I tested it with two different monitors, one of which was the monitor that used to be working with the card from my old machine. The 32 mb card works fine on my old machine, and I'm using that to write this. On my new machine, now neither the 32 mb card which it was working with nor the 64 megabyte card will be recognized by a montior.

I checked for physical damage around the motherboard but there doesn't appear to be any. Should I hear a beep if it is damaged? I can't find anything that explains this error in my motherboard manual so if anyone has some suggestions I'd be happy to hear them.
