Good to know. Thanks.
Edit*
Well this is unusual.
It seems to think this file is spyware: mozz.dll
:|
I don't think that this is spyware, it seems to want to rid me of my ability to use Mozilla. Any ideas here? Is it just an issue because its a new version, or is this really some sort of very sneaky spyware.
Other than that, it seems great, it caught several things that 6.0 didn't catch and that Spybot S&D didn't find.
Edit*2
Upon further inspection it seems that this file was distributed by "iWon"? That's what Adaware thinks anyways.

Looks like lots of people are having that problem. Just tell ad-aware to ignore it because if you remove it mozilla wont start. Lets just hope it gets fixed next update.

Thanks !
Downloaded and installed.
No trouble here and it doesn't think FireFox or Thunderbird is adware.

Something "hinky" is going on.
iWon, which I just googled, is a search engine and net portal that has nothing ( so far as I can discover ) to do with Mozilla.
I just installed AdAware SE and I have FireFox and Thunderbird and it does not consider Mozilla to be spyware.
Unless you deliberately installed iWon I think a paid search engine, it's the sort of thing where they're promising you a chance to win a lottery several times a day if you sign up, is using camouflage.

Did we finely find spy-ware targeted toward Mozilla?

Not quite yet.
This is just deceptively named so that people won't delete it out of hand but it's certainly coming.

Running two different versions of Mozilla browsers here. Installed the new AdAware SE yesterday and all is running smooth.
Much more in-depth scanning by the new version, without having to manually configure it to do so.
I'm sold.

Got the newest version and thanks. However, when I try and update it says no net connection available (use DSL). I open Firefox and try again but same thing. I have to open IE and then it will update. Don't like this part at all.

I updated using firefox with no trouble at all.
Is it possible their servers are buckling under the load ?

Yeah, I downloaded the new build for today (using Firefox) about 30 minutes ago, no issues.

Download it again - 1.02 was released today. Yesterday was 1.01 and 1.02 isn't just a definitions update, it's another new program.

Alright, the new version no longer thinks that mozz.dll is spyware.
And once again - 1.03 released today.

All they probably did was fix typos in the original program! ;-)
