upgrade geoforce2 to geoforce 3 driver issue????

i got a second hand creative geforce 3 titanium 2 to replace my trustly geforce2mx400, but a buddy of mine warned me that there was an issue with the new nvidea drivers so i thought i would ask here; des annybody know what is the best driver to use????
