Deleted items

Just wondering, when i deleted any message in Microsoft Office Outlook, where all the data gone? Disappear? Can be retrieved? How to totally delete those data? Is it been kept inside *.ost or *.pst??

Yes, all data in Outlook is in the .pst file, the .ost file is your offline store.
