UMAX Vista S8 SCSI Scanner

Howdy,

I have a UMAX Vista S8 scanner that doesn't seem to want to work. I have downloaded all aproprirate drivers for the scanner and Windows XP refuses to recognize the connection.

Does anyone here have any experience with this antiquated POS? Would like to get it working.
