i have been creating some wallpapers lately, and when i create them in photoshop cs, they look exaclty how i want them too, however, when i set the jpeg as my desktop, or even just view the jpg in the viewer, the colors are noticeably different. ie, i was making one with a blue background, and it came out a lot lighter. i had to bo back into PS and make the image considerably darker to achieve the color i wanted. even when i open the jpg in PS, it looks like i orginally wanted it to, so its not a format change. is there anything i can do to correct this? thanks

Do you have the Adobe Gamma Loader running on your computer? Sounds to me that the ICC profile embedded in your image is different from your monitor.
