Hello everyone, just a quick question ,with excel if you are using for example,three sheets,can you call on a range of cells from one worksheet to the other,is there a way to merge them,hope i havent confused you all :)

Do you mean from 3 seperate files, into one file with seperate sheets, or 3 seperate sheets in one file into one sheet?

what i mean is if im working in sheet three ,im in cell b3,and i want to referance cells in b3 to b40 in sheet one, i hope that makes it clearer,thanks for replying.

You bet you can. I use Office XP so I don't know if you're using something different but go to the sheet where you want to make the reference in, put in the classic = sign and then go to the sheet the other info is held and highlight it. Hope that helps.
Edit: To do it by hand it would look something like this. ='sheetname'!cellstoref
need the = sign of course, need to put the sheetname in single quotes add the ! mark and then the cell name like D16 or whatever. Beautiful he says, beautiful!
