Hey all,
Just noticed there's a file called reg.hta loading on my dad's comp at startup. Is this a virus? I've removed the kak.hta virus from other comps and was wondering if this was one because of the .hta ending. I couldn't find anything on it so I'm hoping it isn't, but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks guys.

& u might want to remove it nonetheless
Btw Overseas Sec. Council has posted an advisory here:

Just read those articles, seems all I have to do is remove the file reg.hta from the startup folder. Is there any software that can protect me from spyware? Thanks again.

Hmmm, tried downloading it but the lavasoft link doesn't work. Do you have another link where I could download it at? Thanks.

The Lavasoft site seems to be down. I could attach it to your hotmail address. "aaw45.exe" is 660K.
