trouble with cd/r

the cdr is ok when i copy pics in folders onto the disk, but when i come to add more pics into one of the folders already on the disk it says it has dont it ok and then if you take the disk out and put it in again it spins and wont eject or recognise it

i am using easy cd creator and i have set the speed with regard to the cd's

any ideas?
