Liteon DVD+-R/+-RW Dual Layer 16x8x16 CDRW 40x24x40 NEW!!! RM460

Sony dives are picky on what it can/cannot accept. That sony is 2.8X
the pioneer OEM, is the normal without the cool face plate, that's why its a little cheaper. Its also fast, and no error in burning.
TDK has the widest support of media
LG has the most write errors.

So I was hoping if anyone can recommend me any of the above. Budget cap is secondary, though I would prefer the OEM over an expansive faceplate. Going to buy this saturday.
Thanks
:)

I've heard people recommend Liteon alot in this forum. So I would probably go with that.

I haven't used this one, but will be purchasing it for my next build.
NEC 16X Double Layer DVD±RW Drive, Black, Model ND-3500A BK, OEM (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=27-152-032&depa=1)

This one is also an option: NEC 8X Black Dual Layer DVD+/-RW Drive, Model ND-2510A BLK, OEM BULK (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=27-152-023&depa=1)

NEC, LiteOn and Pioneer are very good choices. The difference between the models (like NEC 2510A and NEC 3500) is the speed. The latest models do 16x DVD+R and 4x DVD+R DL I believe.

Whichever you pick, definitely stay away from Sony.

Thanks. But the drives available are just these, like I said above, so no NEC yet.

I can't edit the previous post, so here it is:
The TDK is using the NEC chip
The liteone RM460 has Ultra DMA, my mobo has Raid controller, does support it. But the DL burn is just 2.8X.

So I think its between the TDK and the Pioneer.
Recommendations based on usage.
