comp wont let me go on gmail

i can't seem to go onto gmail from this computer in IE or firefox. also, it won't let me open attathcments from hotmail on firefox only on IE. i have IE 6 and Firefox PR works fine on my old comp. just go to login screen, type in my info and just a blank page. nebody else having this or a related problem?

What version of firefox? It could be that the new release isn't compatable.

yeah but i can't get on with IE either edit-my old comp has the same version of firefox. i'm gnna try reinstalling it just to be sure neways
