Before I start overclocking my 9800XT, I was wondering if anyone new what the stock HSF was good for?

If you have any input, please let me know.

its not good u will be able 2 get a little better, but with Arctic Cooling Ati Silencer 3 u will reach huge results!

It really depends on how much you want to overclock. It will be fine for a small amount, but anything more, you'll probably want another heatsink.

I went up to 425/375 (small OC) and I started seeing artifacting in Halo2, but the card still ran the game fine.
