Trouble Keeping Things Full Screen...

So I have a 128mb ATI 9200 on an ASUS P4P 800 DLX with matched kingston 256mb pc3200 sticks. My problem is that when I play certain video files they play fine then I make them full screen and they play full screen for roughly 7 seconds then minimize to their original size in a corner of the screen the rest of the screen staying black. Im curious as to what could cause this? My immediate thought was perhaps overheating so I put a little fan on my vid cards heatsink however the problem persists. So then I thought software issue? This occurs with Windows Media Player and Real Player...

Any ideas would be appreciated...

Just guessing here, but maybe it's a DirectX issue. DX 9.0c is out and can be downloaded here.

Thank You for the response Panama Red I tried installing the latest version of DirectX as you suggested and the problem persists. Also this did not always occur however I unfortunately am unable to pinpoint when it started.\

Also I have tried installing the latest drivers from ATI's site and the problem persists. Another note Im utilizing the cards capability to handle two CRT monitors.

Please Disregard I ditched winamp 3 and got winamp 5 and its working fine... so aparently what Iv always known was confirmed again... those products are just crappy software....
