On wednesday my laptop (Pakard Bell K5285) will be goining in for repair on wednesday due to the fact that it won;'t turn on. My problem is this.
I have all my university work stored on the hard-drive on my laptop that i need sometime this week. I've had a look to see if i can get at my hard-drive with out completely dismantling my laptop and to my suprise i can. All i need to do is to un scerw a couple of screws and it just slides out. Once i've done this would it be possible to connect it to my desktop pc using an IDE cable and just copy all of the files that i need or will i have to have another piece of equipment?
Thanks in advance
