PNY Quadro 4000

hello,
I'm shopping for the office autocad computer and need to get the best bang for our autocad workstation. We currently use AutoCad 2002 and will be upgrading to 2004. The user has a Dell Precision 360 with a 3.4ghz Pentium. Came with a Quadro 50 or something crappy. Question is, is this the best card I can get? It appears to be the only card that has features that are specifically built for cad apps. I've alread purchased one of these and will be getting 2 more, unless there is a better one out there. I would like to get atleast 2 options, purchase one of each and judge from there. Return the one I don't like and get another of the other.

For AutoCAD, will you be working predominantly in 3D or 2D?

We will be working mostly in 3d, that is what is causing our systems to hang right now.

I'm not a huge fan of the Quatro line - if you're looking for outstanding 3D, I'd look at the ATI FireGL series - specifically the X3-256. I've not seen AutoCAD look better in 3D except for the 3DLabs Wildcat Realizm cards. But the 3DLabs cards usually cost twice what the ATI cards do - so bang for the buck is certainly leaning to the ATI FireGL cards - at least IMHO.
