hi there, im running windows me on my pc and ive got a chance to upgrade the o/s to either windows 2000 or windows xp pro, as my brother has got both unreg verisions and im not sure which one to use, i use my pc for internet and using ms office and sometimes playing games, which o/s would be best to use

when you say unreg versions , what do you mean by that ?
in my opinion anything is better than ME, w2k is a great stable system and so is xp, one reason is because they are both nt based, which is better than any of the other systems.

when i mean unreg it means unregistered and sealed and never used, i would like to use either o/s but not sure which one to use

I have heard that XP is better for Gaming. Although, I have not yet seen much of a difference between gaming with XP/2K.

I am using Windows 2000 and I love it. Very Stable. I will never go to XP; Simply because I dont have a reason to upgrade.

you might want to post the system spects to be sure that you system will run ok with xp.
