System Restore CD

Ok, i just got a system restoration cd for my gateway 2000 G6-200 Xl and i put it in and followed the instructions. Next it says rebot and select boot from Cd. i reboot and it boots like normal.

Then i figured it out sorta. I go into the BIOS and set it to boot from Cd-Rom and when it boots it says to insert a bootable cd. I put it in both drives and nothing?
Help please...

Make sure the disc is clean and free of scratches. Is the disc the original that came with your PC? If it's not, that may be the cause.
