I bought this CRT monitor because I couldnt afford an LCD at the time. I must say this 19 inch monster Isnt all that bad. The picture quality is very nice and easy on the eyes allowing for long computing cessions. The large display is helpful with people who have eye problems and the over design of the monitor is actually smaller in dimensions than most CRT monitors (but this thing is still huge)
The nice design of black and silver accent it flawlessly and the menu buttons in the front are very helpful. I found one option extremely useful, the "ultrabrite" button on the front of the monitor can be pressed once for "text, spreadsheet, intenet browsing" and twice for "gaming, video editing"
This option really works well and can extend the life of the monitor. For the text option it shows the scree "dimmer" than with the gaming option but still jst as crystal clear, so when your gaming the dark corners are lighted up jst as they should be.
I give this monitor a 9 out of 10 only because of its size. Even with size not being a factor to me It was still somewhat of a burden.
If space is a major concern for you I would say look for something else
