building computer for gaming help please

i have made plans to build a new computer the only thing i have in mind is that i want to use the new pentium 4 prescott 3.0 ghz. processor want at least 1 gig. of ram and a good video card with video out. i will be using the computer for web surfing, music, gaming mostly, also video editing i got a camcorder and plan on getting the dazzle product unless anyone has a better idea i don't know much about which brand to buy for what my friend has offered to give me his neon blue case with a window on the side and glow fans thats all i'll have besides the processor need motherboard and other components thanks for the help. :) :)

You've posted this in the wrong forum.

Since this computer is going to be used mostly for gaming and video editing, you may want to look at the ATi Radeon 9800 Pro All-In-Wonder video card.

Look at ASUS or INTEL for the motherboard. There are many good choices from these two companies.

Get name brand RAM, not generic stuff.

You'll want a big hard drive (or 2) because of the video editing. Look at Maxtor or Seagate for those.

And make sure you get a good quality power supply to avoid power related problems.
