Avatars?

So, this might be a kinda boring thread and all, but how long until I get to use my own avatar. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for remembering Sept. 11 and all, but I'd rather have a different picture. It seems like only people who have thousands of posts have their own pics. And I'm not involved enough to get to that level any time soon. Does anyone know the real cutoff?

You will be able to use your own avatar when you become 11 bit, which is 1024 posts.

BTW the answer is 1024 posts are needed. Posts in general disscusion dont count.

I reckon there should be a stickied post so this question isn't asked weekly, as it seems to be. I know reading the forum rules is often a novelty to newbies
