Looking forward to 9800PRO but not sure whether to get which brand.

They make good Radeon video cards, from what I've heard. ATI is pretty strict on who they allow to make their cards.

Unlike nvidia, ATI will not give there chips out to any old card maker. Powercolor is very good and an excellent alternative to paying for the ATI name. You can also look at saphire they are another good ATI card maker and their cards usually come with some nice software packages.

So far i see PowerColor Radeon 9800PRO selling here is the cheapest among all the manufacturer, thus make me wonder if they are a good manufacturer. Anyway, anyone knows how long the warranty last?
Another question, are their core speed and memory speed the same?
Anything reduced because they are selling cheaper?

check if it is a 256bit card. If it is, go ahead and buy it :)

Anything reduced because they are selling cheaper? They price their components the least in order to beat the "made by ATI" name. However, PowerColor makes 128-bit versions of the Radeon 9800 Pro so be sure that what you are looking at has a 256-bit buswidth. That is where the REAL 9800 Pro performance comes out - the 128-bit buswidth is a crippled version. If you're unsure, ask the salesperson, check the SKU, come home and google it, etc.

Hope i wont get cheated!
Have you heard of this GeCube Radeon9800Xtreme PRO 256MB card?
It is around the price of this PowerColor Radeon 9800PRO 128MB, but just wondering why has it got this "Xtreme" word on it. What's the differences?

A great site to check out is www.tomshardware.com. You can navigate to their video card section and see some comparisons of those specific cards. I'm pretty sure I saw a write up on GeCube cards there recently.

I'd recommend Sapphire, Powercolor, and ATi, although ATi does have very strict quality control on it's manufacturers so any should be good.
Does anyone know if the HIS IceQ Excalibar one is any good? Im looking at getting it for Christmas..

Depends on the VPU, but anything that uses ATI VPUs should do fine - their strict quality control should be in the works.
