I have an old Voodoo 4500 AGP, and recently bought the following new kit

Motherboard :- Asrock K7VTA+ Socket A motherboard
Processor :- AMD Sempron Processor

The problem is the motherboard has a AGP 8x 1.5v socket and I have only had some limited information given to me that most voodoo cards run at 3.3v so they would potentially damage a motherboard with a 1.5v AGP socket, but I have seen that Voodoo 4500 AGP cards have a universal AGP adapters that can run on 3.3v and 1.5v

I'm wanted to find some clarification as I don't want to plug it in and do any damage to the hardware ...

Thanks

If the motherboard only operates at 1.5V the 3.3V card will not work in it.

But where I have looked on the net, it says that the Voodoo 4500 AGP has a universal AGP connection that should...... handle 1.5v or 3.3v

What I need I guess is somewhere with a complete specification of this card , I am trying voodoofiles.com as they seem the only 3rd party people supports this old hardware
