This does not work for me. Maybe the value should be a zero or a one.

In windows2000
right click task bar, select properties
click on advanced tab
at the bottom box labled "start menu settings"
scroll down and un-check the box labled
"Scroll the Programs Menu"

Works the same for Windows ME.

I am running Win98 SE and I like this feature but does anyone know if it is possible to do this with the favorites menu?As I would like to ddo it the same way if possible.

I finally made this tweak work for me. Just have to put it in the right place.
