Mouse needs to gain some weight....

I want to add some weight to my MX1000... It's heavier than any other mouse i've used, but i've notice that more weight would help me keep a steadier hand while playing games... However, i don't see any screws to take the mx1000 apart... I was planning on just adding a little rubber weight or anything like that.

Anyone know how i can take apart the mouse without ruining it's beautiful texture? :-D

You could just reduce the mouse sensitivity in games. I play CS Source with a mouse sensitivity of 2.5 I might still need to go lower becase the MX1000 is so sensative. Also if you want full functionality of you mouse look at this post http://www.forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=117925 :cool:

I use a mouse sensitivity of 1.2 on CS:S with MX700 :eek: - it's a good idea to bring it down in lieu of adding weights. If you need to add weights, I'd suggest not inserting weights into the inside of the mouse but rather the outside.
