Hey guys,
For christmas, we got a new lexmark all in one (with fax) 4270. Whenever I plug in the phone cord from the phone line to the fax portion, the fax picks up the line and makes it busy. I'm curious why it is doing this. There is no fax outbound or inbound when I plug it in. I should be able to use a home phone with a fax on the same line, correct?
I e-mailed lexmark support, but they just lead me around in circles, nothing anywhere close to helpful.
