Just thought this was kinda funny when I first read it...

BUYERS OF the Pilot Mouse, made by Kensington, have been complaining that the apparently innocuous desktop rodent comes with a terrifying warning: "The cord on this product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling."

But, of course, if you are still worried about your mouse or keyboard cable, you could always go wireless.
I cut my risk in half, I use a wireless mouse. Now If I can break the habit of chewing on my keyboard cable, while playing doom3, i just might be ok.

if people are that dumb.........
all the stupid lawsuits that are out today, its insane! you can walk in front of a shooting range and get shot 50 time then sue them for not having a sign that says "Danger: Fireing Range!" if they couldn't hear the gun shots i doubt they would have seen a sign....

I remember a while back when email was new, and we'd all get those crazy email jokes. My dad got one related to this, about retarded warnings. One was a Swedish chain saw that said: "Do not attempt to stop saw with hand or groin." Another one was for a soap with the directions: "Use like normal soap". Sometimes people can be pretty stupid, you figure there has to be a reason they put those warnings on there. Either that or someone has a good sense of humor.

"Use like normal soap". I find most shampoo bottles instructions start with: Use like normal shampoo... and normally end with ...rinse and repeat if neccessary.
