Help. HP printer does not print picture

Hi there,

My HP Photosmart 7150 printer does not print photos any more. It prints colorful documents, web pages but not pictures. When I hit print on a .JPG file, the printer spits out a blank sheet of paper - any size.

I have uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed, rebooted the driver twice. Test page is printed OK with all colors.

It's a two year old printer, hence, out of warranty. HP wanted $30 to
troubleshoot over the phone.

Any idea, advise, help is appreciated.

Have you tried opening the .jpg in an image editing program - or even IE - and printing it from there?

if it prints normal picuters from feb pages and doc, then I doubt there is a problem with the printer.
turn it off and restart it, also from what your saying it will also print a test page with no problem, right.
check the print q for any problem there and print a test page from there.
if that is ok, then remove it from the printers and faxes and re-install it, and make sure it is set as the default printer, then try it.
