View Full Version : White lines in text wont go away!!!
Hey. I have a Lexmark x1150. I have refilled the black cartridge once before and it was fine. Now, white lines appear in the text. I have done everything the Lexmark website says and still nothing. I had a similar problem with the first ink cartridge that came with it. I have three essays to print but this problem is drivin me nuts! Please help, I want to pass my courses.
Put in a new Lexmark cartridge, not a refilled or third party one. You take your chances when you use anything but a new factory cartridge, and it looks like you lost this one.
IS it possible that the nozzles are still clogged? If so, what can be used to unclog them? Water? Rubbing alcohol?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't Lexmark print heads part of the cartridges, and aren't the cartridges "chipped" to try to prevent user refilling of them?
Holy crap! Im in school, i cant afford a $30 cartridge of black and $35 colour cart. Is there anyway to bypass this chip? Probly a stupid question but i'll ask anyway.
Welcome to the high cost of inkjet maintenance.
