Mic port problem

Hi, bought a mic yesterday and it isn't working.
I tested it on my other computer and it works finely.
So i think it is the mic port being loose. :p
Anyway to tighten it or fix it?

have you been in your sounds program and see if it see's it? plus there is a test in there to.

i guess i fixed it.. thanks to my casing which has a front port! :)
btw.. if it is the port being loose due to pluging in and out.. what should i do? :rolleyes:
