Highest Megapixel CAmera

What is the Highest mega pixel DIGITAL camera?

I searched and found one 16MP i think from cannon. I remember searching for digital grain vs film grain, and they talk about 40 to 50MP cameras. I dont remeber them saying if there was really one like that though. What is the highest you know of? Professional, rare, dont matter, just the highest made.

The Canon EOS 1 DS Mark II @ 16.7MP is the highest I've see.

sure ive heard that just because its high on Mp count it not nessecarily the best..
Doesnt lens type and grade come into the equation.....

OH yes, pixel count is DEFINATLY not the only thing to look for in a camera.

Im just curious as to how high the highest mp digital camera is.

Ahh i see, had sony p92 for year now very happy with it (only 5mp but get good results with it)
