Only difference between the 2 is the fact 1 comes with Doom 3 and the other does not. Other than that they are the same video card.

They are 'about' the same card when you compare them. I believe that the X700's core clock is a little lower than the 6600 GT's. The 256 MB to 128 MB difference in RAM does not really show much of a visible difference in the cards, from what I hear. I could be mistaken on that note, but I believe you wont see a big difference except in benchmarking results.

Once again these are basically going to be about the same card... I believe that the 6600 GT is going to be faster though. NOW, if you have the money and can afford a 6800 PRO then that is what you should get. But for right now almost everyone will tell you the 6600 GT is your 'best bang for you buck.'

To be truthfully honest, I am not familiar with the AMD 64 technology or the new SLi motherboards yet. I would go for the MSI 6600 GT if I were you though. Like I posted before, 'best bang for your buck.' All MSI cards come with a great software package too. You cant go wrong... :)
