making boot screens

Don't know if this is where to put this or not. I'm trying to find out how to make bootscreens for windows XP. Can someone instruct me on how to do this or link me some info on how to do this. If i've posted this in the wrong place just let m eknow a better place to post it and i wil, Thanks

I've been looking around at some that are already made. Really couldn't find any that reflect me ( if that makes any sense). Already have an idea what I want it to look like. Just needed to know how to do it. Thanks for the warning though.
