Running Win2K SP4 with media player 9...Installed Quick time ....If I play media Quick time starts .....Can't find where I can select default????? to have media player be default??????

You need to check both the QT and WMP preferences, and set your file associations as desired. The only things you really need QT for are Quicktime movies (.mov) and the various MacIntosh file types (.aiff, etc.). You can select all in WMP and QT should not steal them back as long as you only have MacIntosh types checked in the QT preferences.

Hey thanks GLC what it was .....there were other things checked in quick time, once I only had mov checked everything was aokay....
