Counter Strike: Condition Zero

Okay I was at a LAN party over the weekend and after a couple of years I am again hooked on CS. But I became a bit, shall we say "rusty" :rolleyes: So I was going to Start my own fake LAN. So I went to the optiom join LAN and instead of that I created my own LAN game and I couldn't add any bots to the game. Can someone give a link to the actual download and not the site it comes from. OR can some one tell me how to use the console to add bots to the game, be they CT's or'T's.

If you have counter strike source you can open the game and go to create server (or something like that) you can add bots. I'm at work right now so I cant post the cvar list, but if you go to www.steampowered.com and look tin the source thread close to the top you will see a cvar list. There will be bot commands in there. Turtlerock studios (who did CZ) also did the bots for source so the commands should be the same. If you want to bots to improve your skill AT ALL you need to put them at hardness level 3. They don't run strats on you, but thier aim is impecable. If I were you I would go to a server and just keep getting owned till you get better. Most anyone who is anyone will just go to public servers and play till they can kill everyone on teh server all the time and then move on. Set goals for yourself. Start with Keeping a postive score, then move on to so many headshots, then do something crazy like crap guns only. Last night on my server my clan and I went crap guns only and I had a score of 22 and 10 by the end of it. For those that don't play by crap guns I mean, dualies, mac 10's, shot guns, SMG. The guns that don't aim so well and don't fire as fast as teh m4 and ak. You can also combine these like go so many rounds with so many headshots, with crap guns only. I find that your aim improves with the more accurate weapons if you use sniper rifles and crap guns and get good with them. Bottom line play against real people no matter how bad you are and be well rounded with all the weapons. We have a server that has some cal members playing on it you are welcome to play thier. 69.90.113.70. That is a source server. If you want CZ same advise applys, but we dont have a server.

I had found those codes or console commands at Gamefaqs.com and they didn't seem to work. The only thing that worked was when I type sv_cheats 1 and then type add_bot_t or add_bot_ct nothing happens. the way I enable the console was I right clicked on the CS icon and clicked properties then in the target box I added -devmap -console. Was there somthing else I was supposed to enter? I was asking some of the guys at school and they said you can hit the plus sign and choose the selection that will fill the server with bots. when I would hit the plus sign nothing happened.
Any other ideas?
