Pretty Interesting. See how many you use or did use.

I had that Maelzel Metronome, the Rubik Cube, and the Game Boy. I also have a mini maglite, and a swiss army knife, but I guess they doesn't count, as they are not the originals.
I know one who has the HP Omnibook with the neat lil mouse attached to it. Too bad they don't make them anymore, I like that mouse more that the touchpad.
And I do remember the Tamagotchi hype. . . am I glad I never had one myself :)

Interesting list, but like most of these lists, it is way too electronic- and contemporary-biased. The Apple Powerbook 100 is the number one gadget? I don't think so. I carry my Swiss Army knife all the time, and that's far lower in the list. The telephone should definitely be in the top five, as should the pocket calculator. Those kinds of things revolutionized how we lived our lives. The powerbook wasn't the first computer (it wasn't even the first notebook); hardly revolutionary.

ok, come on, they listed like 5 types of laptops. To me they cut corners to make the list. Kinda looks like the write was running out of ideas and had to pad the list somewhat.

I don't see why the Game Boy is on there. The Atari Lynx came out before or at the same time as it, had support for rightys and leftys, a backlight, and a color screen. The gameboy only got a backlight a year and a half ago, and is still not layed out well for southpaws.

Hmmm, no gadget? That list is ridiculous, those objects had hardly revolutioned anything.

Are you saying the BEDAZZLER and the PEZ DISPENSER did not revolutionize the world! :D

I'd have to agree that while some of the items listed are interesting, and may even make one stop and ponder it's significance, I don't feel that the list is entirely accurate.

Something tells me that the companies giving the biggest sponsorship for this list got the top spots.
The abacus is # 60... lower than the MATTEL MAGIC 8-BALL, the ETCH-A-SKETCH, AAHHHH give me a break!

Some are taking this list very serious. I doubt the qualifications for the list are valid. I posted the list for nostalgic reasons or entertainment. I don't agree with it either, but it is fun to look at.
